We are now in the second month of the year 2023 already! Time really does fly. I am pleased to say that I am back on the tennis court and the injury is finally sorting itself out. I have done so much to get to the bottom of it, and in truth, I still don't know what it is but the new footwear is making a huge difference. My sincere thanks go to my chiropractor John Tillyard who suggested a gait analysis at Whirlwind Sports. They supplied new walking/running and tennis shoes for me and I have made big strides ever since (forgive the pun!).
It's been a busy January one way or another. I have written a few more sentences for book three and my art has kept me occupied on rainy days off and weekends. Not playing winter league meant more time for other hobbies. We have had visits from family, been to a funeral in Somerset and had a night away in Devon. I'd like to think that more trips away are on the cards but it's a big year for the Rotary Club of Penzance and my other half is heavily involved in that. We won't hear much else until the 6th May is over.
The world is not a great place at the moment. Wars, strikes, rising costs etc etc - all very worrying. Where is it all going to end?
We have plenty of events in our diaries and we will make the most of being busy.
I will try and keep the prices of my artwork reasonable but since selling a couple of pieces in as many days it has been suggested that I should put my prices up a little in the future.
As always though - if anyone is interested in an item I am definitely open to negotiations!
