I am sure this is a first - I am actually writing this blog in the morning of the first day of the new month!
There are reasons: a) The weather is poor, b) I am still not playing tennis c) I have an exciting new studio d) my website has had a major overhaul yesterday and this morning and e) my art has a new name.
My recovery from injury is making very good progress. I am back making art, running and doing most things as normal. Tennis will have to wait until 1st April which is not too long now, and with the weather so dodgy I have not missed too much. We have volunteered at parkrun which is not a bad thing, I am back in running training and a lot of new stuff has been created and sold. My new business cards are due to arrive tomorrow and I have applied for the New Forest Marque.
This brings me to the new name for my work - NEW FOREST COASTAL ART. The website has been made mobile friendly and I am ready to roll the promotional drum. With more time than usual on my hands I am turning out a lot more work more quickly - and, of course, the new studio helps enormously. Gone are the days of doing work on the kitchen table. I am still "moving in" and making changes but I can work in warmth, peace and quiet without annoying anyone else or making the house untidy, just brilliant. I may in the future invite customers in to visit my studio but due to our residential location this will never be public.
So, I am looking forward to a bright artistic future.
