So, here is April and the weather has been dreadful this year so far. I am currently on a week's annual leave and I have spent a lot of the time indoors! Yes, I have been playing tennis and done my parkruns but we have not had a day without any rain at all!
I spent some time making new items for my collection which has been fun but we really could do with getting out a bit more. A few bits of art have gone up in the clubhouse of St Ives Tennis Club and some things that I now need to sell to make space have gone on Ebay (so far not a great response!). Sales are happening but they are quite slow this time of year, I think.
We have a new dog in our family - she is called Nala and we can't wait to meet her. If she loves our beaches as much as Seven she will never want to leave Cornwall once she gets here. We are collecting our old tennis balls again....
So, I am now waiting to hear if we can play our ladies training session this morning or if rain stops play again. Don't forget - purchasing direct from the artist is much cheaper than going to craft fairs, galleries, online sites etc. I am always happy to negotiate and give discounts!
