A Pause from September

No blog since June - apologies but there is a reason for it. I did not want to make it public until I could be reasonably sure: We are moving!!!

So next week it's good-bye Cornwall after many years and hello, Hampshire, here we come. A new chapter in our lives, long thought about and finally happening. We will be leaving Cornwall but are sure to return for visits. This is no doubt one of the best places to live. The very quick sale of our home in Carbis Bay proves that. I personally have been exceptionally lucky to call Cornwall my home county since moving to England at the end of 1989 - and have loved it here.

Never one to sit still I am looking forward to the challenge of starting again. Being closer to family will be amazing, too. We are moving to another "posh" part of the country and we shall be closer to where things are happening.

Once we have settled in I am hoping to receive lots of visitors from Cornwall. I retired from the day job on 1st September and I will be continuing with art in Hampshire but naturally, I will have to take a break for a few months. First of all we need to move and do all in connection with that, and then we are hoping to have a dedicated studio built for me so I expect not much will be happening on the art scene until that's up and running. I may temporarily be operating from our office indoors but I cannot promise that at the moment.

So, it means a pause to my art and this website.

Until then look after yourselves everyone, keep in touch and look out for news from our new home. And don't forget - I still have some works in stock which I can sell from my new home via courier/post. If anyone wants anything please do not hesitate to contact me. Once I have new works I will let you all know via Facebook, Instagram etc.

This was the last piece of artwork I sold before writing this blog!
