Yes, it's horrid today but surely this cannot go on? At least in weather like this I have time to be creative! A few new things have been made recently and I am hoping to sell them.
A couple of items I picked up from a charity stall when family was visiting and I have transformed them into something new. One of these items, a photo frame, sold very quickly which was nice. My four decorative tiles are looking for new homes now.
During the better-weather-period I rescued a few bits of board from our fire wood store. Des found some old painting hanging around in the garage and offered to paint the boards after I had brushed and washed them. I am now in the middle of using all these white boards for different art projects. The first one was started yesterday (oil) but could not be completed due to the very long drying process of oil paint. However, this morning I made a wall hanging I have been collecting bits for for a long time - You Do the Maths, something for the maths fan or a maths teacher. The board was real fun to make. It's colourful, with lots to see and calculate!
Away from my art I had to have new running shoes due to the incident at my last parkrun where I picked up a piece of wood which actually destroyed my trainers! I ran home from work last week to give them a try but unfortunately, the damage could be felt which meant brand-new shoes.
I am due to play a tennis league match tonight but the weather is not looking promising. We have had so many sea swims this year already but we cannot even begin to think of it at the moment!
Not too much other news apart from the annual Cornwall Active challenge that we usually enter with work - I am trying to do my bit by cycling, walking and running...
