It's the 11th already today - is it me or does time run faster than it used to? Here we are again in mid-October and I have not updated by blog. Never mind, so here it is:
Been away to Norwich, the Algarve and Cambridge with lots to eat and drink, swimming, sight-seeing etc. It was great to spend time with our son and girlfriend for over a week! Then we had a visit from the two lovely girls, our daughter and dog Seven and we always have a good time. Pity that our son-in-law had to work but teachers get plenty of time off during the school holidays!
I am now preparing for possibly the only Christmas Fayre I will be attending as an exhibitor, the Carbis Bay Combined Methodist Church's Fayre on Saturday, 25th November. I have been producing a few new Christmas items as my left-overs from last year have gone to my sales outlet in Hampshire, Aldermoor Community Farm, Southampton.
Another new experience was my afternoon in the Rotary Shop in Penzance yesterday. First time I have volunteered and it was quite fun. I am not sure if I want to do it all the time but I think I could step in again some time if the clubs are really short and I am available. I have learnt to operate the till and fill in the book etc.
Next week we will have visitors from Devon for a couple of days so I must make the most of my time off work this week and get a few things done. As always - if there is anything you see on FB, FB Marketplace or my Instagram that you would like, just contact me.
