It's May already - more than mid-May as well! Time to update the blog. So what's been happening? Well, first of all, we have reached another mile stone in lockdown easing - the 17th of this month! We can now meet indoors again. This gives me hope that we will soon see the return to markets and fairs where I can present and sell both my books and my driftwood art!
Tennis, running and work keep me busy. The first few pages of book number 3 have not been touched for months. It is not writer's block though. I have written a book review and some other smaller things. I am just not confident that another book would sell particularly well at the moment. Let things sort themselves out a little more and I will get back into completing book number 3, no doubt!
If all stays on track we will be able to travel around again - not abroad (that's by far too early!) but around the UK perhaps. There is so much to see and do! We've already had a taster by visiting family up-country - socially distanced, of course - and the odd bit of non-Cornish driftwood has been picked up.
All we want now is a bit of summer. We have not seen any summery weather yet. Keep going, folks - things are looking up!
