How are you doing during lockdown?

It is about time to write a new blog, I think. Lockdown in the UK continues, and if you are running out of reading material then you know where to come! You can either contact me direct or order through Amazon (their service is still pretty fast!). If and when you have read my book(s) then please take the time to leave a comment - either on Amazon or with me. It is always helpful to have reviews.

All is well here. We are still enjoying fantastic walks around our area and we play tennis (volleying) in the garden. Our neighbours have to put up with balls ending up on their side but this will have come to end as their seedlings are beginning to grow - so the sooner we can play proper tennis again, the better.

Walking has taken over as the main hobby (apart from writing, of course, which will continue when my neck has recovered from repetitive strain injury). I am part of a walking/running challenge group and I have today signed up for a national campaign for Diabetes UK. Anyone wanting to support my fund-raising efforts please let me know. I have a sponsorship form here and I believe it is possible to donate via Facebook as well. This is a worthy cause close to our hearts as our son is a Type1 diabetic.

Reading is great for passing time during lockdown. We all seem to have a little more time for activities like that during lockdown. So far the weather has been good, too. We have been able to sit outside to read/work/talk as well as spending more time

in the Cornish countryside.

Don't forget - I am still offering to help with German if anyone is interested. Just contact me for translations, wanting to learn, help with "back to school" etc.

Take care and stay safe!

Birte
