Another new month - and happy World Book Day today!
We are still in lockdown but time still flies and I am more busy than ever. I have started on book number 3 and there should be so much time to write now but other interests have somewhat distracted me recently. Please be patient, I will come up with another book but smaller writing projects and art have taken over at the moment.
We love where we live and walks and runs are our daily exercise. I am totally into the virtual running/walking group that I am member of, something I want to keep going when we return to tennis at the end of this month. Foundation Training classes have gone online, and I particularly like the Monday evening sessions but I struggle to fit them in sometimes.
My art projects have been fun. My husband even suggested that I may be more successful selling my art than my writing but so far I have kept most of my work or given it away as presents.
Due to the above I have had little time to read but having come across a wonderful non-fiction book recently I can't put it down and I am really enjoying it alongside other things around the house. It will be very, very strange to get back to some kind of normality when the courts re-open. The time at home, on the beaches, in the countryside and on my running routes has been so great and I will miss it. In fact, I am a little scared of going back to routine life! Having had so much more time for other hobbies has been an eye-opener. I have been fortunate enough to head out to work (at the workplace) twice a week so I have been able to interact with and see my colleagues which is always great. We miss travelling and seeing the family, of course - that's been the hardest.
