April - a very busy month indeed. Time to update my blog before the month is out.
I am pleased to say that I have been offered help with my website update! My dear son-in-law Luke is going to "job share" with Jason and they will update the site as and when they get time.
I was really desperate to have my site updated but perhaps I should be patient. I have already been to events where I have sold some books and artwork - and the next one is coming up soon! So things that I may put on now may well be sold before anything goes live.
So what have I been up to? Visiting family, playing tennis, running, working, reading, writing (yes!), preparing more artwork (yes!), teaching German etc etc. This month is simply flying by. I am helping to organise a charity event for the Edward Hain Project in St Ives - we are going to have (hopefully) a Tennisthon from 8am to 8pm on Thursday, 2nd June (Jubilee Bank Holiday) at St Ives Tennis Club. I also have a table booked for the Lelant Village Fayre on 3rd June (again, Bank Holiday) which will be held in the wonderful garden of the Watermill Pub in Lelant. We have tickets for Exeter v Harlequins on 4th June - very excited to take my sister-in-law to her first live Premier League rugby match (although we will not be supporting the same team).
Off to Essex in the morning for a tennis weekend with our friends from Westcliff Lawn in Southend - always a great experience and long overdue because of Covid.
The new running and walking challenge starts again on 1/5/22 - I am now starting my serious training for the Women's End to End in mid-June!
Well, next blog coming soon - take care everyone
