Back to tennis and a busy Life?

About time that I write another blog. Today was the day when we went back to tennis after the latest lockdown in England. Weather was good and playing felt as if I had never been away! Last evening I thought I had got used to life without tennis but I don't think I am ready to hang up the racket yet! Once I was on court I enjoyed it, of course.

I am currently trying to meet the target for my miles challenge. I set myself a tough goal by signing up from 1st March for 150 miles until Easter Sunday. Now I am rushing to collect mileage but I am determined to do it. Absolutely love my running and walking alongside tennis etc - I am really into this Miles for Medals craze.

Small writing projects and my new hobby of creating artwork have curtailed my efforts with Book Number 3 but I am not giving up. I have started typing the story and I will get back to it very soon. My lockdown art is a new obsession and I have recently sold my first item! I am advertising on free internet sites at the moment but once we can have stalls at markets again I am sure I will sell both books and artwork. Anyone reading this and wanting to see my art please visit Facebook's Marketplace or Gumtree - and if you are in the Nextdoor Neighbourhood group I have advertised there as well. I create candle/indoor plant holders, table lamp bases and different pieces of driftwood wall art which includes memo boards, and I have also made one small driftwood shelf. I am currently just selling wall art.

With the easing of lockdown a very busy work and sporting life will return - not a social life yet - so there is a chance I can concentrate on my new hobbies for a bit longer.
