Well, it's been a long time again before I updated my blog. We are experiencing a second lockdown and things have not become any easier.
Book sales are so hard at the moment, and any thoughts of starting on book number 3 have been put on hold for a while. It's just not worth it at the moment, I feel.
I am currently promoting both books (Petroc's Church and Let Wild Waves Roar) at a combined price of £8.00, and I am also offering to deliver locally (Carbis Bay, St Ives, Lelant and Hayle) - so if you would like something light to read during lockdown or are looking for a Christmas present (signed by the author, of course!) then look no further. Send me a message through this website or contact me via Facebook. I am happy to oblige. P + P (where necessary) will be charged at cost price.
I am always looking at other writing opportunities but there is just an overload of online stuff at the moment. With tennis also on hold for the moment I am directing my focus to running (and walking). Last weekend I have done my first proper training run of 10k which is quite an achievement for an old lady like me! I am "into it" and I am enjoying it. All we want is reasonable weather and well-oiled limbs and my performance should get better.
Other lockdown/winter projects have included arts and crafts (never far from my mind!) but I am
very much looking forward to spending more time promoting my books and writing.
Luckily, I still have a day job which is a good thing and keeps me out of mischief.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading and keeping in touch.
